R.I.P. Poedry

Well, the bad news is I've decided to let poedry fall by the wayside. So much for the funhouse of my mind. It took me a week to figure out that opening wide those doors may not be such a good idea...yet. The good news is that in its place comes the long-awaited freelance poedry site for all things magnetic. Of course I'm required to hype it up, but I personally think it will be the hippest thing ever. Take a sneak peek here.

If, during her brief time on blogearth, you have somehow managed to fall hopelessly in love with poedry, do not fear. Her life will live on in freelance and knit 'n play...and of course in the W.I.P. (works in progress) notebook that I have been too afraid to put into her clumsy hands. This death is only temporary. Poedry will rise again. Maybe someday she will return to us in the form of a book, an album or a movie. Ah, the blissful someday.

A little poedry for the road:

All my what ifs came true in you
If only for a day
But there's one what if I didn't see
The what if you didn't stay.

I'm wishing now that I could go back
To a future I cannot see
To a place where what ifs
Are not what is
And what is, what never will be.

Green Dandies

You really haven't lived until you've seen a wiener dog run willy-nilly through a dandelion patch.
I think the pink dandy looks like Jerry Garcia, don't you?
